Driving directions

  • From the M25, take junction 12 (M3) towards London.
  • Exit the M3 at junction 1 (Sunbury, Shepperton and Staines).
  • At the roundabout take first left onto Staines Road.
  • At the third set of traffic lights, with "Sunbury Tyre & Exhaust Specialists" on your right, turn left onto Windmill Road (A244).
  • At the second set of traffic lights turn left, and immediately left again, onto Harris Way.
  • Follow Harris Way as it turns to to the right.
  • Gartside House is on the right-hand side of the road.
  • You'll find plenty of parking spaces within a few steps of Gartside House.

Travelling by train

  • The nearest railway station is Upper Halliford.  [Map]
  • Sunbury is the best railway station if staying at the Travelodge or the Premier Inn.  [Map]
  • Trains to and from either of the above stations terminate at London Waterloo.

Travelling on the bus

  • Take a bus towards Sunbury-on-Thames, such as the 216, 290 or 571 from Staines, or the 555 from Heathrow Central bus station etc.
  • Get off at the "Windmill Road" bus stop, close to a big white building marked "Sunbury Tyre & Exhaust Specialists".  [Map]
  • Walk south down Windmill Road.
  • At the second set of traffic lights turn left, and immediately left again, onto Harris Way.
  • Follow Harris Way as it turns to to the right.
  • Gartside House is on the right-hand side of the road.
